Who are we?
Novicap is an end-to-end working capital solutions provider focused on enabling CFOs/Finance teams of SMEs to pay their suppliers and collect from their customers. This includes short-term credit (factoring, supply chain finance and loans) and payment automation solutions.
With offices in Barcelona and Madrid, we are currently looking for a Debt Advisory Originator to join our team. In collaboration with the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the development of a new client segment within Novicap, focusing on companies with an annual turnover exceeding €200 million or requiring credit lines between €5 million and €30 million. You will be responsible for the entire deal cycle, from origination to closing.

Your mission
As mentioned, you will be responsible for the entire deal cycle until the transaction is closed. To achieve your mission, you will:
Opportunity Sourcing (Origination):- Develop the market: Identify and contact large companies in need of financing between €5M and €30M.
- Generate your own leads: Actively seek new opportunities by directly contacting companies and intermediaries.
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team: Work with our team to generate opportunities through debt advisors, M&A boutiques, and financial intermediaries.
- Present our value proposition: Clearly communicate Novicap's financial solutions to clients and partners.
Deal Analysis and Structuring (Structuring & Underwriting Approval):- Understand client needs: Analyze the financial situation and objectives of potential clients.
- Prepare documentation: Gather the necessary information (financial, legal, operational) and prepare presentations ("teasers") for institutional investors.
- Advise on the solution: Explain to clients how our solutions (Factoring, Supply Chain Finance, Working Capital Loans) can help them, ensuring they understand how these integrate with their other financing arrangements.
Deal Closing:- Manage the entire process: You will be responsible for ensuring that approved deals are closed successfully and on time, coordinating all parties involved.
- Facilitate legal documentation: Manage contracts using our templates and act as the main point of contact between the client, our legal team, and investors.
- Coordinate internal teams: Lead and organize the work of Novicap's Legal, Operations, AML/Compliance, and Customer Success teams.
- Client handover: Ensure a smooth transition of the client to the Customer Success team once the financing is closed.
In doing so, you will contribute to achieving Novicap's long-term growth plans.

Who will you work with?
You will report directly to the Head of Sales and work in close collaboration with the rest of the Partnerships, Legal, Operations, AML/Compliance, and Customer Success teams in Madrid, Barcelona, and the rest of Spain. We are a young and dynamic team ready to welcome you!
